Architecture

The design for Museum House embodies the concept of “creative tension,” it is expressed by two seemingly leaning towers joined by an elegant, thin bridge, suspended 300 feet above the ground. A grand lobby will showcase art pieces and rotating exhibits curated by Westbank, while the two towers will reflect the neighboring Frye Art Museum’s existing structure, through architectural references and materials.

Façade – Shifting Screens

The façades of the two towers at Museum House reflect the museum’s existing structure, through architectural references and materials. Shifting screens on each building’s façade will create a pattern inspired by works from the Museum’s Founding Collection, allowing residents to interact with the building’s exterior animation.
